On 6 December, on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he made an unexpected announcement about his service. Polozhynsky admitted that he does not consider himself a hero and that in more than six months of full-scale war he has not killed a single invader who came to our land to destroy infrastructure and kill civilians.

"I have been in the Armed Forces for over six months. I haven't become a hero, I haven't killed a single enemy and I've been at the front for a short time. But it's a great feeling to be part of a glorious family of cool guys and girls. Happy holiday to everyone in the Armed Forces and everyone who loves the Armed Forces," the artist wrote on his Instagram page.
