Anton Lystopad, one of the best pilots of Ukraine, died

On August 8, 2022, Anton Lystopad died in the war with the Russian occupiers. He was rightfully considered one of the best pilots in the country.

On September 17, pilot Anton Lystopad would have turned 31 years old. He was a pilot of the 204th Sevastopol Tactical Aviation Brigade named after Oleksandr Pokryshkin. The soldier took part in the Joint Forces Operation. From the first minutes of the full-scale invasion of the Russian occupiers, he defended the Ukrainian sky. Anton Lystopad died on August 8, 2022.

Anton Lystopad was considered one of the best fighter pilots of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He flew in difficult conditions of enemy air defense and fighter aircraft. He repeatedly performed combat missions to cover the ground column of Ukrainian troops.

His plane led a group of aircraft that flew over Khreshchatyk during the parade to mark the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence.

Anton Lystopad was posthumously promoted to the rank of Major.
