On March 6, 2022, in the city of Malin, Zhytomyr region, during shelling, a shell exploded near the Holy Intercession Church (Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia - ROCOR)
“The temple received significant damage - the roof was destroyed, the domes were damaged, frames, glass, and doors were broken. Inside, the iconostasis was demolished by a blast wave, etc. Only the walls remained of the church,” says Agafangel Pashkovsky, head of ROCOR.
