Odessa Art Museum

The Russians have launched a missile strike on Odessa. The missile fell near the building of the Odessa Art Museum. The museum and exhibits were damaged.

The Odessa National Art Museum has shown the consequences of a night attack on the historical centre of the city by Russian occupiers.

As reported in the administration of the Museum, in the evening of 5 November Odessa National Art Museum was significantly damaged due to the missile attack of the Russian Federation. "And already today is the museum's birthday - 124 years!..... Odessa art is closed. We postpone all events and cancelled Free Entrance Day, as we planned", - stated in the message.

It is noted that people were not injured. 

Among the affected exhibitions: Margit and Roman Selsky "Sunset Sun / Sol occidens" from the collection of Eduard Dymshits, Boris Eisenberg "Flowers behind the dumps", works by Alexander Grekhov, Stas Zhalobnyuk "Black Sea", Vladimir Semkiv "Joy", Albina Yaloza "Altar of the heavenly army", Kinder Album "Large meadows, abundant grasses".
