During the Russian shelling of the city of Dnipro on the morning of Friday, 26 May, one of the rockets hit the building of a polyclinic as well as a veterinary clinic, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine said. According to the latest reports, two people were killed and another 30 injured as a result of the shelling. It was first reported that a 69-year-old man who was walking past the polyclinic building at the time of the strike was killed. A little later it became known that the body of another man had been recovered from under the rubble.

In addition, several private and apartment buildings, as well as cars, were damaged.
