The Russian occupation and terrorist army has turned the young and resource-rich town of Ugledar into a ghost town during a full-scale war, from which a significant proportion of residents have left. Constant bombardment has distorted the town beyond recognition. Nearly every multi-storey building in Ugledar has walls charred from Russian attacks, destroyed entrances and broken windows. In the courtyards of the houses, playgrounds have been destroyed by Russian shells. Preliminarily about 80% of the residents have left the city.
