This picture shows the town of Mariinka, which was completely destroyed during the war. This town was home to about 9,000 people, and after the Russians arrived, only ruins remained.

Julian Röpke compared the current footage of the city centre with what was done during the war. And without comparison, it is clear that the city has been "reduced to rubble and dust" by Russian troops, the expert concludes.

Julian Röpke, a military observer for BILD, commented on the video of racists from Maryinka, near Donetsk. The Russians have been trying to capture this former town since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

Before the arrival of the "Russian world", about 9,000 people lived in Mariinka. The only thing they managed to do was to completely empty the settlement of its inhabitants. In recent months, a significant part of Mariinka has fallen under the control of the occupiers, but at the same time, Mariinka has been completely destroyed - turned into rubble and dust.
