Russian tanks destroyed the church of 1862 in the village of Vyazovka

In the village of Vyazovka, Zhytomyr region, Nazis from the Russian Federation destroyed a 160-year-old church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Church of the Intercession) is a wooden Orthodox church in the village of Vyazovka, Zhytomyr region. National Architectural Monument of Ukraine (protected area No. 108).

The church was built in 1862. It was built by the residents and clergymen.

On 7 March 2022, during the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the church was destroyed, according to the congregation, after being hit by a Russian tank column.
