On 23 April 2022, a Russian missile destroyed the Tiras residential complex in Odesa. Eight people died in the building and 18 were injured. The tragedy took the lives of three-month-old Kira Glodan, her mother Valeria and grandmother Lyudmila.

On the fateful day of 23 April 2022, the man's life was saved by an accident - he left the house to go to the store.

After the tragedy, Yuriy Glodan took up arms to defend the country. First, he joined Azov, then the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In early November 2023, it became known that the soldier had passed away.

In civilian life, Yurii Glodan worked as a baker. The man had a family, a beloved wife and a child. Russian terrorists continue the genocide of Ukrainians every day.
