The 26-year-old artist of the Kiev National Academic Operetta Theatre, Vadym Khlupyanets, has died fighting for Ukraine's independence. According to preliminary information, the young artiste was killed on 13 November in Bakhmut direction. Vadim Khlupyanets was originally from Donetsk, so he joined the ranks of the defenders to make his home under the yellow and blue flag forever. Little is known about the hero. He graduated from the Kiev college of choreography. He worked as a ballet dancer of Kyiv National Academic Operetta Theatre. He participated in the sporting life of the theatre. In 2017, he was named the best scorer in the mini-football tournament among the theatre teams in Kiev.
