Andriy Pavlenko was born on 12 August 1980.

After school, he studied journalism in Kyiv (1997-2002), then acting at the RATI-GITIS Faculty of Acting in Moscow (2000-2003). In 2009, Andriy graduated from the Karpenko-Kary Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television with a degree in film and television directing. He was an actor at the Atelier 16 and Black Square theatres in Kyiv. The actor's filmography includes 69 works in various films and TV series. His most popular works are Foundlings, Cop Wars, Bad Good Cop, Threads of Fate, Dr Baby, The Road Home and others. 

Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the man joined the Armed Forces. During a battle in one of the frontline areas, Andriy was killed. Andriy is survived by his wife and four children.

The family said goodbye to the actor in Kyiv on 13 December 2023, and the funeral took place on 14 December 2023 in Obukhiv.
