Mikhail (call sign Mishania) Dianov has been involved in the Russian-Ukrainian war since 2015. He is a senior sergeant in the Marine battalion of the 36th separate brigade. He heroically participated in the defence of Mariupol and the Azovstal plant. He was taken prisoner by the Russian Federation troops. With a wound in his arm, Mikhail was not given proper help by the Russian Federation. His arm did not heal, missing four centimetres of bone. This was only discovered when Mikhail was released from captivity. At the moment Ukrainian volunteers have managed to raise enough money for the operation.
