Zavorichi is one of the oldest settlements in Ukraine. It is believed to have been founded by Prince Vladimir in 980. A church was built here in 1873, and on March 7, 2022 it was completely burned by Russian occupants. All that remains is the foundation and a pile of burned iron from the roof.
