Russian troops shelled Dnipro with cruise missiles

On 10 October, Russia massively shelled Ukraine and its critical infrastructure. Dnipropetrovsk was also hit.

In order to avenge "sabotage by the Ukrainian special services on the Crimean bridge," Russia launched a massive missile strike across Ukraine. Children's playgrounds, business centres, multi-storey buildings, museums and other types of structures that have nothing to do with military infrastructure came under fire. In total, Russia fired more than 80 missiles of various types, about 45 of which were shot down by the Ukrainian air defence. It is worth noting that the strike took place on a Monday morning when people were on their way to work and schoolchildren were on their way to class. During the morning rush hour, Russian missiles flew into the streets of Dnipro. Four people were killed and more than 20 injured. More than 20 rockets were fired into the city. Most were shot down by Ukrainian air defence. Russia continues to war on Ukraine's peaceful infrastructure and its unarmed population by virtue of its impotence on the battlefield.
