The town of Bakhmut is a hotspot in Ukraine. The Russian military is shelling it day and night. During another attack by the Russians, a 19th century building which housed the town's youth and youth centre was destroyed. The house was an architectural monument and was not a strategically important target. No military facilities or weapons depots were recorded in the vicinity. Russia continues to destroy the culture and the peaceful, unarmed population of Ukraine.
