Yuriy Gudymenko has been known to most Ukrainians since the invasion of Ukrainian troops. When there was panic in the country, Yuri, while in Mariupol, publicly recorded videos in his telegram channel and told them how to behave. His videos quickly spread across the net and in this way he garnered even more love from Ukrainians and the phrase "hello, kitties, how are you?" became his symbol. Yuriy is originally from Zaporizhzhia, 34 years old, he is a sapper of the 130th Battalion of the Territorial Defense of Ukraine. He took part in the battles for Irpen, Bucha and the Kharkov region. In Kharkiv region he was wounded by shrapnel in the battlefield. He was pulled out of the battlefield by his comrade-in-arms.
