Buildings, structures, objects before and after the start of the war

On 19 August 2023, Russian terrorists launched a missile attack on the centre of Chernihiv. At the time, an exhibition was taking place in the city centre, and many people were injured.

As a result of Russian shelling in Gulyaypol, Zaporizhzhya region, a unique building - a steam mill dating back to 1894 - was subjected to destruction.
 

The Russians hit the Iskander-K hotel building with a missile. The building housed a children's camp. 

Germany provides substantial support to the people of Ukraine, both in humanitarian and military terms. The German population strongly condemns Russia's actions and compels assistance to Ukraine and its inhabitants. 

Russian troops launched a point missile strike on one of the multi-storey residential buildings in Kryvyi Rih. 6 people were killed, more than 70 wounded. 

On 23 July 2023, Russian forces launched another missile strike on Odessa during their invasion of Ukraine. The strike partially destroyed the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Saviour, the largest Orthodox church in Odessa.

Lviv was hit by 10 Kalibr missiles from the Black Sea, damaging 35 houses. At least four people were killed in one of the multi-storey buildings, about 40 were wounded. 

Russian forces continue to destroy Ukrainian cultural heritage. This article gives examples of such crimes.
 

At the beginning of the open invasion, the Korolenko Central City Library in Mariupol became a refuge for the townspeople from Russian attacks. But the building itself did not withstand the massive shelling.

Russian troops have launched a precision missile strike in Kramatorsk. An Iskander missile hit a restaurant: 11 people were killed, including three children, and 61 people were injured.
