In the 2000s, Milchakov was a member of the St. Petersburg branch of Dmitry Demushkin's Slavic Union neo-Nazi organisation. He served in the Airborne Troops.

Murder of a puppy

In 2011, 20-year-old neo-Nazi Milchakov, who posed as a fan of the St. Petersburg football club Zenit, published photos on the social network VKontakte in which he kills a puppy, then cuts off its head and eats its meat. The publication of the photos caused outrage among Internet users, who created a petition on the website "Demokrator", which was signed by more than three thousand people. The Prosecutor's Office of St. Petersburg started an investigative check.

Milchakov was unrepentant about the murder and in response to public outrage he wrote on the Internet: "Animals also have rights and I respect their right to be 1-tasty, 2-fried, 3-don't have a lot of veins and bones; today I was once again convinced that a dog is not only a friend of man, but also a good kebab ;)".

On one of the published photos he poses with a flag with a swastika and the caption: "Cut homeless people, puppies and children! Run away from the mutts and turn in your own." According to Newsru.com, Milchakov "admits that more than once shot at anti-fascists. For this purpose he has traumatic weapons and two self-loading hunting carbines model "Saiga"."

Participation in the war in Donbass

In 2014 he took part in the war in Donbass with the call sign "Serb". In an interview with Egor Prosvirnin, Milchakov stated that he entered there as part of a "small group of Russian nationalists" and that he went to Donbass "to kill" because he "felt the excitement of hunting" and called himself a Nazi.

According to the Ukrainian prosecutor's office, Milchakov fought from June 2014 to August 2015 at the head of the Rusich DSMG. In September 2014, Milchakov organised an ambush near the village of Privetnoye in the Slavyanoserbsky district of Luhansk region, which resulted in the deaths of about 40 servicemen of the Aidar battalion and the 80th separate airborne assault brigade of the AFU.

According to the Meduza publication, Milchakov fought as part of the Batman unit in Luhansk and in the battles for Donetsk airport.

During the war in Donbas, Milchakov was photographed against the corpses of dead Ukrainians. Belsat" writes that Milchakov cut off the ears of the killed Ukrainians and carved a "kolovrat" (swastika with eight rays) on their bodies.

After the war in Donbass

In May 2016, Nasha Niva wrote about the "Easter military-patriotic youth training camps" held near Moscow, to which Belarusian children were taken and where the instructor was a neo-Nazi Milchakov.

In 2017, the publication "Fontanka.ru" found Milchakov in photos of participants of the Russian operation in Syria among the mercenaries of PMC "Wagner". The publication notes that Milchakov had previously stated that the DSMG "Rusich" "is not just a unit, but friends united by a common idea" and refused to sign a contract with the People's Militia of the DNR, claiming that he was not a mercenary.

On 6 July 2017, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine opened a criminal case against him on charges of creating a terrorist group, encroaching on the territorial integrity of Ukraine and waging a war of aggression. Among other things, he is accused of involvement in the killing of 40 Ukrainian servicemen.

Participation in the Ukrainian-Russian war

According to the German Federal Intelligence Service, has been involved in a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine since the beginning of April 2022. In April 2022, the YouTube channel of the right-wing radical music group Russian Flag reported that Milchakov was "not seriously wounded".

In September 2022, Milchakov published in his Telegram channel an "Instruction on the disposal of AFU prisoners of war" in which he threatened to torture and kill prisoners of war.
