This tribunal will fill a gap in the institutions of international criminal justice. The principles of the organization are based on the International Criminal Court. The resolution voted by the parliamentarians is not binding. However, it calls for not only the military and political leadership of the Russian Federation, including Putin, but also the self-proclaimed President of Belarus, Lukashenko, to be tried for crimes in Ukraine.
